Our first Committee Meeting for 2012 will be held at the Roleystone Country Club on Thursday 1 March at 7.30pm. We have a new core Committee of Deb de Boer (President), Chris Atkinson (Secretary) and Dave Willis (Treasurer) and now we need you as general Committee Members. We have some great new ideas but we need your input. It's YOUR Club so come along to the meeting and help plot our direction for 2012.

The churches in Roleystone are organising an Anniversary event coinciding with the Kelmcott Roleytone fires at Rushton Park Kelmscott.

There is a final planning meeting on Jan 22nd at 3pm at Roley Community Church. Everyone interested is invited.

The date for the 'Acoustic On The Village Green' 6 year birthday and end of year wind up will be SUNDAY 4th Dec 2011 - 3PM

This year Mels is asking anyone from local bands that have come along during the year and supported, (this includes their band) and the faithful that turn up rain or shine to nominate. The format is the usual 'ACOUSTIC' but plugged in.

The past five years it has been held above the Restaurant, at The Elizabethan Village Pub, this year it will be 'ON THE GREEN' as there is a power supply in the gazebo. This will also give more room gear if everyone wanting to be part of the celebration.

We are looking for RMC bands to play at the Concert in the Park Gig on 19th Feb. This is one of our biggest public gigs, with last year 400 people attending just to see our performers.

This gig is for professional sounding groups. Players will need to be members of the RMC and have played at our regular club nights. Preference to bands with three or more members.

There will only be three bands playing. The RMC committee will make the selection.

The next Roleystone Markets is on Sunday 4th December - 9am to noon at the Robin Rd Green (Roleystone Primary School).

Kanyana is having a Country and Rock Dance fundraiser. All proceeds go to the wildlife centre. Hawkstone and The Ferrymen will be playing and there will be dance calling.

Bring your dancing shoes and favorite fleecy checked shirt for a night of fun and dance. Raffles and prizes galore.
